Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Onancock, VA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
Document patient information and care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
Complete NIH and stroke education requirements as mandated for acute care RN roles
Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

Active Virginia RN license or compact license in hand at time of submittal
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience, with specialty experience within the last year
EPIC electronic health records experience required
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
NIH and stroke education required
One supervisory reference required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a high-volume acute care emergency department
Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements and assignment expectations
