Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical
Location
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Independently manage patients on insulin and heparin drips
- Perform IV insertions and maintain vascular access
- Perform and monitor Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum 18 months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated IV insertion experience
- Experience with Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)
- Ability to independently manage patients on insulin and heparin drips
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity Medical/Surgical environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
