Job Title

Registered Nurse – Long Term Care (Level 2)

Location

Rochester, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, Evenings, and Nights available | Weekends, on-call, and holidays per unit need

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to geriatric residents in a long term care setting
Perform nursing assessments and implement individualized plans of care
Administer medications and perform wound care as required
Accurately complete clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Oversee and delegate tasks to LPN and CNA colleagues within the unit

Required Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license – NY license only
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a long term care setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
Strong communication, flexibility, and delegation skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

Telemetry experience
Experience caring for geriatric populations with complex wound care needs
