Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the facility's electronic medical record system
• Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and standards of care throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Maine or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification; additional emergency-specific certifications may be required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-volume emergency care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with commonly used hospital electronic medical record (EMR) platforms
• Experience working in a community or regional hospital environment
