Contract | Nights | Evening/Night shifts (3x12 Hours): 15:00–03:30 or 19:00–07:30 | Weekend and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Perform telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• TNCC certification required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam (adult and pediatric) prior to start – passing score of 80% or higher, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms on the adult exam; traveler has up to three attempts under defined remediation criteria

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, academic, or Level I trauma Emergency Department
• Familiarity with cardiac interpretation and telemetry monitoring in both adult and pediatric populations
