Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: September 21, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency department nursing care across a 50-bed ED unit
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 while providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Operate and interpret findings from EKG machines, cardiac monitors, and blood glucose equipment
• Document all patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, EMTs, and medics across all shifts
• Perform all standard ED procedures and respond effectively to a high-acuity patient population

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital emergency department experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Current PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I or Level II Trauma center experience
• Stroke program experience
• Energetic, collaborative communication style with strong interpersonal skills when working with staff and providers
