Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Location

Fort Wayne, Indiana

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room
Perform circulating nurse duties across general and robotic surgical cases
Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 4-OR unit environment
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled, including one day per week and one weekend per month

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Proficiency in circulating for general and robotic surgical cases
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
Valid driver's license with permanent home address matching submitted ID

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner EMR documentation
Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms and associated circulating responsibilities
Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical services setting
