Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency department seeing approximately 175–200 patients per day
- Care for a diverse and complex patient population including transplant, burn, LVAD, stroke, ECMO, PICU, NICU, and chest pain cases
- Perform triage and patient assessment using ESI protocols in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in rotating on-call and rotating weekend call as required
- Float within scope to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience in an acute care setting
- Prior experience in a facility with at least a 30-bed emergency department
- Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and ESI certifications required
- Valid driver's license or state-issued ID required
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (local candidates are not eligible)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-acuity specialty populations such as ECMO, LVAD, or comprehensive stroke care
- Familiarity with fast-paced, high-volume emergency department environments
