Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Every other weekend required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and Telemetry units within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
• Float between two MS/Tele units and to other units or affiliate facilities based on census and skill needs
• Maintain patient safety standards including medication administration via BCMA
• Utilize Liko lifts and standard med/surg telemetry equipment as part of daily patient care
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Work as part of a flex pool, supporting staffing needs across the facility where most needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact RN license (pending submissions accepted)
• BLS certification – required
• ACLS certification – required
• NIHSS certification – required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Must be comfortable floating without restrictions within the facility and to nearby affiliate locations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU or PCU experience in addition to strong MS/Tele background
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Well-rounded clinical background with comfort managing varied patient populations
