Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for general medical, surgical, short-stay, orthopaedic, and stroke patients
• Monitor and care for remote telemetry patients as part of a 1:6 patient ratio on a 30-bed unit
• Perform EKG interpretation, IV insertion, Foley insertion, and medication administration
• Conduct point-of-care testing including blood glucose monitoring
• Complete vital signs collection and thorough assessment documentation using Cerner EMR
• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) and float to other units as needed per facility requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for telemetry-monitored patients
• Familiarity with orthopaedic and stroke patient populations
• Comfort with floating to additional units as operationally required
