Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Projected Start: 08/31/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor and delivery
• Care for newborns immediately following delivery
• Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections
• Support procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Maintain documentation using CPN and Meditach systems
• Adhere to a scheduling requirement of 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per contract period; travelers float first per unit policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM, ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• Proficiency with CPN and Meditach documentation systems preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced Women's and Children's unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating and recovering C-section patients
• Familiarity with shared decision-making models in patient care
• Experience working in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
