Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Projected Start: September 21, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients within a 12-bed Labor & Delivery unit at a 1:2 patient ratio
• Care for newborns immediately following delivery
• Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections
• Support procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
• Document patient care using CPN and Meditach electronic systems
• Adhere to a floating policy in which travelers float first; fulfill scheduling requirements including 3 weekend shifts and 1 call shift per assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification (not advanced) OR CEFM required
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Proficiency with CPN and Meditach documentation systems preferred
• Scrubs required in Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray (not provided by facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience circulating and recovering C-section patients
• Familiarity with shared decision-making models in patient care
• Experience working alongside OR techs and unit secretaries in a collaborative team environment
