Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit in an acute care inpatient setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record system
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care inpatient experience within the last 3 years in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• EPIC experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry competency exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required; travelers have up to three attempts with conditions)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation in an inpatient setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations and complex care environments
• Experience working in a teaching or academic medical center
