Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: September 21, 2026 | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Month Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to laboring patients on a Women's Services unit with 9 L&D beds, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and a 3-bed OBED
- Support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities in alignment with individual patient preferences
- Perform unit procedures including OR circulating, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management using the JADA system, and nitrous oxide administration
- Maintain patient experience scores above 75% threshold
- Document accurately using CPN and Meditech systems
- Float to mother/baby or outside department to task as needed per floating policy; maintain required certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Fetal Monitoring certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Spinning Babies techniques
- STABLE program certification or training
- Experience with laborist or team-based care models
- Prior experience with couplet care or postpartum breastfeeding support
