Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in a Special Care Nursery / NICU setting, managing a caseload of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
• Care for neonates presenting with common diagnoses including TTN, prematurity, neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS), and feeding difficulties
• Utilize the Paragon electronic health record (EHR) system to document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Float to Mother Baby unit as needed to support staffing requirements
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a 4-bed unit (surge capacity to 6 beds) to deliver high-quality neonatal care
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including NRP and BLS

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU or Level 2 Special Care Nursery
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Mother Baby / postpartum nursing
• Experience catching babies in the delivery setting
• Flexible, team-oriented personality well-suited to a small, collaborative unit environment
