Job Title
Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Stroke & Brain Unit)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3 shifts/week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Stroke & Brain unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry, managing patients requiring cardiac drips and neurological monitoring
- Perform and document neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
- Operate unit equipment including Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, Bladder Scanner, and Doppler
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
- Float to other areas of the facility where demonstrated competency has been established, per contract terms
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Stroke experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing cardiac drips in a PCU or stepdown setting
- Basic dysrhythmia interpretation skills
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
- Neurology or dedicated stroke unit background
