Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | No weekends | No major holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures including SPECT, CT, PET, MR, and optical fusion imaging
- Apply knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology to imaging processes, techniques, and procedures
- Utilize Nuclear Medicine Information Systems (NMIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
- Adhere to safety standards set forth by the Radiology Department and applicable regulatory agencies
- Interact effectively with patients, address patient apprehensions, and instruct students as needed
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and professional appearance in all interactions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program, OR an Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program plus 2 years of experience
- Current registration in Nuclear Medicine — NMTCB or ARRT (NM) required
- At least one advanced certification required: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), or ARRT(MR)
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification required
- Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be classified under a local rate structure
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Molecular/Nuclear Imaging including SPECT, CT, PET, MR, and/or optical fusion imaging
- NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research Certification
- Strong time management and analytical skills with the ability to plan and accomplish goals independently
