Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Adhere to holiday work requirements per facility policy; travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience — first-time travelers are not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• EPIC proficiency required
• Maximum of 7 days of RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or onsite
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity emergency patient populations
• Experience working in a facility that utilizes EPIC EMR
