Contract | 13 Weeks | 36 Hours Guaranteed | Evening Shift, 5x8s (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | On-Site
Key Responsibilities
- Perform circulating RN duties in a general operating room environment
- Support surgical procedures including general surgery, GYN, and urology cases
- Assist with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation, typically 4–5 weekday call shifts and 2–3 weekend call shifts per month (shifts may be 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on Saturday or Sunday); must be available to return to the hospital within 30 minutes of callback
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system (Cerner)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Demonstrated circulating experience in the operating room
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Background in general surgery, GYN, and/or urology surgical specialties
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating call schedules based on departmental staffing needs
