Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional needs and develop individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy care plans tailored to each patient's unique goals and capabilities
- Provide hands-on occupational therapy treatment to support patient recovery and help patients regain independence, confidence, and quality of life after illness or injury
- Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team throughout all stages of patient healing
- Document patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans using Cerner
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with the unit's rehabilitation mission
Required Qualifications
- Current North Carolina license to practice Occupational Therapy, or actively in the process of obtaining one
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute care or inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records documentation system
- Strong ability to work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team environment
