Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation, applying principles of radiation protection and professional judgment
• Conduct diagnostic medical radiography within the department and other areas of the facility
• Maintain patient records and files, and support departmental quality assurance programs
• Transfer patients to and from radiology and assist with general department hygiene
• Rotate shifts as required and be available for on-call assignments with the ability to report to work within 20 minutes
• Pursue continuing education and perform ancillary duties as requested by supervisor

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited CT/XR training program
• Current ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (XR) required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Flu vaccine required
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span and provide age-appropriate patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with patients of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
• Familiarity with compliance and ethics standards in a healthcare setting
