Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Key Responsibilities

• Float to all PCU/IMCU floors serving a cardiac patient population
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3–4, with potential assignment to telemetry beds at lower acuity levels within the same unit
• Provide care for patients presenting with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) diagnoses
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility in a PCU, IMCU, or Stepdown setting
• Experience with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing cardiac drips and hemodynamically complex patients
• Prior float pool experience across multiple PCU/IMCU units
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
