Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 4x10-hour shifts with on-call requirement | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Angiography / Interventional Radiology setting, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio across 3 labs including 2 dedicated IR labs and 1 Hybrid OR
- Perform and assist with procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE management, Stroke, and Trauma interventions
- Manage critical care drips (gtts) and provide care for high-acuity patients, including stroke and trauma cases
- Operate and assist with specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC Cupid electronic health records system
- Participate in on-call rotation as required per unit scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care and/or Angiography / Interventional Radiology
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- ICU or Emergency Room experience required
- Experience with critical care gtt management, stroke care, and trauma care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with EPIC Cupid documentation system
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary team environments (RN, Lead Tech, ARRT/RTR, RCIS)
- Exposure to high-acuity patient populations in a Level I Trauma or Certified Stroke Center setting
