Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (8:00 PM – 8:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to a patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
• Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in the PACU setting
• Utilize unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for documentation and communication
• Participate in on-call and back-up rotation on weekdays and weekends within a 6-week schedule, with requirements shared among all staff
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend and expected holiday shifts as applicable to assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience; first-time travelers are accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or on-site, and no RTO is permitted during orientation week
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems
• Experience caring for a broad patient population including adolescents through geriatrics
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling
