Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Telemetry unit within a Level II Trauma Center, maintaining a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Float between units as needed to support staffing demands across the facility
- Work weekend shifts as required — expected 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
- Adhere to facility dress code: solid navy blue scrub attire for licensed nursing personnel
- Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation; module time is non-billable
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; first-time travelers accepted
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (charge RNs and leads accepted)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals considered under separate terms)
- Background policy: facility does not accept Nursys or background hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Neuro Telemetry or Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
- Familiarity with acute care environments, including Level II Trauma Centers
- Experience floating between units in a fast-paced hospital setting
