Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Provide timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
• Perform basic radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy
• Maintain a patient throughput of approximately 3 scans per hour per technologist
• Participate in on-call rotation, with an expected call requirement of approximately 1 day per week

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school of Radiologic Technology
• Active ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active state licensure as a general radiographer required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with biopsy and drainage procedures under CT guidance
• Familiarity with contrast media administration protocols
• Experience in a high-volume imaging environment
