Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor & Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Tennessee (or compact license eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Willingness to commit to an 8-week travel contract with a projected start date in October 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a rapid response or high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in acute care settings
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
