Travel RN – Labor & Delivery | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

Contract | Travel | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: October 5, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with 15 labor beds, 3 OR suites, 4 triage beds, and 3 Preop/PACU beds
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1, 1:1 for patients on Pitocin, and 3–4:1 in APU and Triage
• Operate and interpret Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) with Tocometry, ultrasound, pulse oximetry, BP cables, and NOVI equipment
• Assist with and support procedures including C-sections, cerclage placement and removal, IUPC, and FSE
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including secretaries, ANMs, relief charge nurses, and ORTs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• IEFM (Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• RNC-OB (Inpatient Obstetric Nursing) certification
• C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
