Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Expected 40 hours/week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
- Maintain accurate, timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
- Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
- Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
- Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill continuing education requirements
- Actively participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback through staff meetings, focus groups, or direct supervisor channels
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in good standing in the state of Georgia
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Ability to complete documentation in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
- Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and professional codes of conduct
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with functional quality indicator assessments and letters of medical necessity
- Prior involvement in clinical student supervision or mentorship programs
- Demonstrated engagement in continuing education and professional development activities
