Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7pm–7am, 3x12-hour shifts) | Onsite | 36 or 48 hours per week available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
- Work night shifts with an expected schedule of 3 weekends per six-week schedule
- Availability to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays is required
- Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs, within scope of practice
- Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned during onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursys verification required at time of submission
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
- BSN preferred
