Job Title

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location

Twin Falls, ID | Acute Inpatient / Acute Rehab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10s, 07:30–18:00 | Weekend coverage expected | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients across the ICU, acute inpatient tower, and acute rehab unit, sharing time equally between acute inpatient and acute rehab settings
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 8–10 patients per day alongside a team of 3 SLPs
  • Perform Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS) as a core component of patient care
  • Treat patients with diagnoses including stroke, pneumonia, sepsis, and related conditions
  • May float to a satellite medical center location approximately 30 minutes away as needed
  • Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
  • Demonstrated competency in Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS)
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in an acute rehab unit setting
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
