Contract | Nights | Every Other Weekend | Expected 36 hours/week | Rotating Shifts Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general emergency department nursing care across a 16-bed observation unit serving adult patients with a census of 10–16
• Perform assessments, IV placement, phlebotomy, EKG interpretation, and point-of-care testing
• Read and interpret telemetry strips as a core requirement of this role
• Apply splinting techniques and deliver patient education as appropriate
• Document accurately using Epic, ASAP, and Clin Doc EMR systems
• Float to other units and rotate shifts as needed based on unit demands

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a single ED setting
• Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Epic, ASAP, and Clin Doc charting platforms
• Experience working in an observation or ED holds unit
• Comfort with a 4:1 or 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio depending on unit needs
