Registered Nurse – Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating 12-Hour Shifts (Days or Nights) | Saturday through Friday work week | Weekends required | Expected 36–48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a 25-bed long-term/intermediate care setting
• Operate on a rotating schedule covering day shifts (6:30–18:30) or night shifts (18:30–6:30) as assigned
• Document and manage resident records using Cerner electronic health record system
• Float within the facility or to an affiliate facility nearby as required, in accordance with client policies and Joint Commission standards
• Expect to work some holidays in alignment with facility scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN license or valid compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• 2 professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PointClickCare electronic health record system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
• Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for both day and night shifts
