Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit in an acute care setting
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license (no license hits; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience; first-time travelers not eligible
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• EKG Course / Telemetry Competency Test required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Demonstrated ability to float comfortably across multiple units or care settings
