Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Orthopedic/Neuro Med/Surg unit serving scheduled elective orthopedic and neuro/surgical patients, fractures, and medical overflow
• Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms as a core function of the role
• Perform neurological assessments and apply med/surg nursing skills across a diverse patient population
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6 on night shift
• Float to applicable units when requested based on census and staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN License (required)
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry RN experience in a single location
• Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Neuro assessment skills and telemetry competency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR
• Experience in orthopedic or neurology patient populations
