Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit with a focus on orthopedic and neurological patient populations
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Perform and document neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Strong orthopedic and neurological nursing experience required
• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Familiarity with post-surgical orthopedic and neurological patient management
