CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location

Chamberlain, SD | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days shift base with evening/night rotation — Monday through Wednesday, 5:30 PM–7:00 AM (three 13-hour shifts); rotating Thursday night call and approximately one weekend of call per month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform General Radiology and CT examinations independently, including trauma cases
• Complete required departmental paperwork and morning quality assurance (QA) procedures
• Operate GE Optima 64-slice CT scanner and Konica X-ray room equipment
• Utilize EPIC and Sectra imaging systems for documentation and image management
• Work independently within the department, including during call shifts
• Participate in facility orientation to protocols, equipment, and computer systems

Required Qualifications

• ARRT license required; registration in (R)(CT) preferred — candidates with extensive CT experience but without CT registry will be considered
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of X-ray experience
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Experience with GE CT scanners
• Ability to perform CT and X-ray procedures independently, including trauma imaging

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT registration in both (R) and (CT) modalities
• Experience with GE Optima 64-slice CT scanner specifically
• Familiarity with EPIC and/or Sectra radiology information and imaging systems
• Prior experience working in a high-trauma or critical access hospital environment
