Travel RN – ICU (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU/PCU unit serving a lifespan patient population
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with common diagnoses including DKA, hypertensive crisis, COPD exacerbations, and pneumonia
• Operate and utilize unit equipment including Linet beds and Zoll defibrillators
• Document accurately within the Medhost EHR system
• Maintain patient ratios of 1–2:1, applying strong critical thinking and attention to detail
• Float to other units as required per facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• Expected weekly hours: 36, with expected weekend hours of 24
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ICU/PCU crossover patient care
• Familiarity with Medhost or similar EHR platforms
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
