Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with an expected patient ratio of 1:4
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to other areas within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and infection control standards
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — no pending licenses accepted
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
- Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required at time of submission
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility — candidates within 75 miles are not eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing telemetry patients in an acute care setting
- Demonstrated ability to float across units or campuses within scope of practice
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
