Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a busy 24-bed Medical Surgical / Oncology unit in a team-friendly environment
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective nursing care
- Float to other areas within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
- Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including documentation and orientation modules
- Participate in unit orientation, which includes completion of clinical and non-clinical modules
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — pending state licenses are not accepted
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical or related setting
- Willingness to float to other units or facilities within scope as needed
- Must live more than 75 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
- Valid driver's license or state-issued ID, plus a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last three months, are required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed — first-time travelers are also considered
- Experience working in an oncology or telemetry setting
- Familiarity with 1:4 patient ratios in a fast-paced acute care environment
