CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging studies across ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings (all study types excluding cardiac and perfusion imaging)
- Float and provide coverage in X-ray as needed, including operation of portable X-ray equipment
- Operate department-specific equipment including Siemens 64-slice CT scanner, Siemens C-arm, and GE portable X-ray
- Navigate and document within the Meditech EMR and PACS systems
- Work independently during night shifts with supervisor available by phone; daytime shifts include on-site radiology supervisor or lead tech
- Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and approachability in a cross-trained, collaborative department
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification required
- Active North Dakota state license required
- BLS certification required
- Must be able to cover X-ray in addition to CT duties
- Candidates with facial hair must be able to pass facility fit testing requirements (3M Aura 1860 or 3M 1870+); inability to pass or remove facial hair may result in contract cancellation
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates may not currently hold full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity Health
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience performing a broad range of CT imaging studies in a fast-paced, multi-setting environment
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR and PACS systems
- Familiarity with Siemens and GE imaging equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
