Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures across assigned units, with potential floating to sister facilities as needed to meet operational demands
- Adapt to varying daily caseloads based on shift and location requirements
- Operate Siemens CT equipment and document patient encounters using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in staff meetings as required and adhere to facility protocols and dress code (teal top, black bottom scrubs)
- Support a Level 1 Trauma environment, responding to high-acuity imaging needs as they arise
- Comply with all radiation safety standards; radiation badge must be supplied by the staffing agency — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
Required Qualifications
- ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required
- SCRQSA (R)(CT) licensure required — must be active and in hand at time of start; pending licensure will not be accepted
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of overall CT experience preferred
- Proficiency with peripheral IV (PIV) placement required
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Previous permanent or PRN staff at this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Siemens CT equipment strongly preferred
- Prior travel or contract experience in a Magnet-designated or teaching hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
