Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-hour shifts including weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical and acute care/observation unit patients
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Apply specialized knowledge related to critical disease states including orthopedic post-surgical care, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illness management
• Participate in weekend rotation as part of the standard schedule
• Participate in on-call rotation, expected at approximately one call shift per two-week period based on staffing needs; on-call shifts may replace expected hours for that week per the facility's scheduling policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar RN experience required
• Current RN License valid in the state of Colorado
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Current Flu Vaccine — no exemptions accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic post-surgical nursing care
• Familiarity with cath lab or hybrid procedure recovery environments
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
