Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic and Surgical unit in accordance with RN scope of practice
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
Float to clinically appropriate Med/Surg departments as needed, within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or compact equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in orthopedic, surgical, or medical-surgical nursing
Comfort with floating to various Med/Surg units as clinical needs arise
