Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on need; various shift start times available. Weekend coverage expected approximately every third or fourth weekend. Holiday coverage based on departmental need.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging across multiple care settings including ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR
• Conduct CTAs and trauma imaging in support of a stroke-designated critical access hospital located near a major highway
• Perform various joint imaging and procedures in coordination with an adjacent orthopedic clinic
• Operate department-specific equipment including Siemens 128-slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, and Hologic Mini-C
• Utilize EMR (EPIC) and PACS (McKesson) systems for documentation and image management
• Float to assist with radiology injections and biopsies as needed; training provided for floating assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT(R) with CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Solid CT experience is required; must have stronger CT background than mammography experience
• Proficiency in both X-ray and CT imaging skills required; C-arm experience may be necessary for emergent surgical cases
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates may not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN at any facility associated with the parent health system within the past year

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital environment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
• Experience operating C-arm equipment in a surgical setting
• Strong communication skills and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume ER and clinic environment
