Contract | Days | 4x9-hour shifts | Varied shift start times (6:00 AM, 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM) | No weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in Outpatient Surgery settings including PreOp, PostOp, and PACU across a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Support a variety of surgical specialties including retina surgery, total hip/knee replacement, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and podiatry
- Initiate IVs and demonstrate familiarity with conscious sedation, general anesthesia, and local anesthesia
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 within a 5-room unit with an average daily census of 10–18 patients
- Document and manage patient care using Epic and Pyxis
- Float across all divisions of Outpatient Surgery as needed; may be expected to remain on shift based on room census at end of day per unit protocol
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in Georgia or a valid Compact license required at time of submission
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within required deadlines to avoid start date delays
- All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or on-site, and no RTO is permitted during orientation week

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a multi-specialty outpatient or ambulatory surgery environment
- Familiarity with PreOp, PostOp, and PACU workflows
- Proficiency with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
