Contract | Evening Shift | 5x8-hour shifts | Primary start time 1330; hours may vary based on departmental staffing and operational needs (possible start times include 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, or 3:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures in addition to CT imaging
- Support multimodality imaging needs across CT, X-ray, and OR settings as applicable
- Administer contrast materials via venipuncture in accordance with applicable certification requirements
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records system throughout patient care and documentation workflows
Required Qualifications
- ARRT registration: R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) — Required
- California Radiologic Technologist (RT) state license — Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor — Required
- Venipuncture (IV) certification — Required in California for employees performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
- Fluoroscopy license — Required in California for employees operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Proficiency in at least two of the following modalities: CT, X-ray, and/or OR
- EPIC experience — Required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
- Advanced ARRT certification in CT modality
- Experience supporting all three modalities: CT, X-ray, and OR
- Strong multimodality background with the ability to flex across imaging departments
