Contract | Days | Alternating 36/48-hour weeks (3x12 or 4x12 shifts) | Midday start (12:00) | 12 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) expected per contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health record systems
- Respond to and manage critical situations in accordance with facility protocols and clinical best practices
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Room nursing
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- ENPC certification required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or acute care environment
