CT Technologist (Travel Contract)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures within a radiology department setting during overnight hours
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment in accordance with facility protocols and patient safety standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within the facility's EHR system
• Collaborate with the radiology team to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services
• Adhere to all mandatory reporting requirements for child and adult abuse as a certified mandatory reporter

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Must obtain Iowa State Background Check (SING BG), including criminal and child abuse portions, fully cleared prior to start — no instant or statewide searches accepted
• Mandatory Reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
• 10-panel drug screening including opiates required
• Titers within the last 12 months required (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an acute care or regional health center radiology setting
• Familiarity with a broad range of CT imaging protocols and diagnostic procedures
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
