Computerized Tomography Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
• Administer contrast materials via venipuncture as required, in accordance with applicable certifications
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures

Required Qualifications

• ARRT registration as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist (RT) state license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Fluoroscopy license required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
• Advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in California)
• Prior experience performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
